Our Road to Coffee

Hello, we are Dan and Michelle Winder, just a couple of neighborhood kids from Southern California whose families spent numerous memorable holidays and weekends together, which unbeknownst to us, were the initial building blocks of the foundation of an 18 year union.

Reuniting after two failed marriages we settled down in Kingman, Arizona where we merged our families creating the Winder 9. Michelle took lead in raising our seven beautiful children while Dan pursued his career in the fire service.

Staying true to our course to a bigger future plan and better life we relocated to Colorado Springs after Dan retired. With six adult children pursuing their own destinies it was time for our creative planning to take foot in regards to future goals.

With this new found freedom we decided to take a much needed vacation to Costa Rica where we explored coffee plantations and our dream of owning a coffee company took foot. For the two of us this just made sense because coffee has always been a mainstay beverage for both of us growing up and our consumption increased being parents to seven kids, in the firehouse building relationships, as two adult college students and at family gatherings promoting closeness in our family.
